Entries are accepted in order by postmark. SO... those of you who are back east have the same chance as someone here who is next door!

Last years race filled in less than 2 days

Fill out the application while online

• Please fill out all of the boxes that apply to you.
  • Especially your email or an email contact
    • Needed for updates and final instructions
    • If you are wait-listed ... it is the only way off that list and into the race
    • Needed if you wish to withdraw from the race
  • Please fill them out as accurately as possible
    • ie. ...not sure how many marathons / ultras, then put 10+, 20+ or 25+, etc...
• When you are sure you have it all filled out (Thank you!) .... THEN

• You can print it out ...
  • Sign it and send it in.

Entry acceptance procedure and wait list

ENTRY FEES, REGISTRATION, WITHDRAWEL PROCEDURES and WAIT LIST PROCEDURES:

Applications will be available online on Dec 1st at approximately 12:01 am MST. Last year we filled in less than 2 days
$95 by April 18, 2007 postmark. $105 by May 2. $115 by May 16. NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED BEFORE DEC 1ST POSTMARK OR AFTER MAY 17th POSTMARK.

We will accept the first 260 entries as determined by order of the postmark date. If enough entries are recieved with The Dec 1st postmark to reach 260 entries, then the following will take place!

• We will have to do a lottery, there is no choice.
• There will be guaranteed entries for the 2 following groups.
  • Past winners - male and female.
  • Those who have completed Squaw Peak 5 times.
After 260 entries with checks have been received, a waiting list will be maintained.

We will accept the next 60 entry forms. The first to go on the wait list will be any entries left over from Dec 1st postmark, then to Dec 2nd postmark and so on until list is filled.

WAIT LIST PROCEDURES: When someone drops from race and space in the race opens on or before May 12, you will be notified via email. You will have 48 hours to respond and either accept or decline the race slot. If you decline, you will receive a refund check. If you accept, your name will appear on the entrants list within 24 hours. If you do not provide an email, you will not be placed on the waiting list. While we will make every effort to give persons entering through the waiting list the correct T-shirt size, we cannot guarantee it.
The entrants list will be finalized on May 21. After that date, there will no more substitutions off the waiting list. Entry is not transferable. We expect the race will closeout very early. We filled in 2006 by Dec 22nd. And in 2007 we filled in just 6 days And 2008 was less than 2 days!
Limited to first 260 runners. + 60 on wait list.
WITHDRAWEL PROCEDURE: If you wish to withdraw from the race. I need to have you send me an email dated on or before Sat. May 10th, stating your intentions to withdraw. There are NO REFUNDS, as a courtesy your entry fee will be rolled over for one year only ... this is not a gauranteed entry to next years race. You still have to re-enter on Dec 1st. Withdrawel must emailed.
